The Pressed Flower inclusions in my works are my interpre-tations of preserving blessings. A reminder of the gratitude

that I feel. It transcends the holy spaces that I visit and are brought back into my personal space. Preserving these memories and energies that follow me back , extend my sublime experience.

The form of The Mother, the guide, the protector, the pre-server are all intertwined. She exudes an aura of pain andsuffering, endurance and strength, peace and calm, forgive-ness and grace, radiant and vulnerable. She is every super power the devoted seeks. She is this and infinitely more. This series of paintings reflect my daily rituals and are very much part of my effort to stay in the realm of surrendering to an omnipresent divine energy.
