Job Description

Kinetic Events Staffing is hiring event staff to support a series of sporting events at Stanford University this fall. 

Our team will assist with guest entry, ticket scanning, bag checks, ushering, wayfinding, and gate management at Stanford Stadium. Please note that this is not a food & beverage position, but we welcome applicants who have this type of experience. 

We're looking for reliable, flexible, and professional individuals—especially those with event, security, or venue experience—to join our roster. There will be opportunities to work on other Bay Area events through our agency as well. This is a great fit for those looking for weekend work in a fun, fast-paced environment! 

Shifts Details

• Saturday, November 1st - Shifts will be 9:30am-2:30pm, 9:30am-4:30pm, 9:30am-5pm or 10am-4:30pm
• Saturday, November 22nd - Shift start time will be announced 7-14 days before event (Must be fully available for the entire day as the game may start at 12pm, 3pm or 7pm) 
• Saturday, November 29th - Shift start time will be announced 7-14 days before event (Must be fully available for the entire day as the game may start at 12pm, 3pm or 7pm) 

Additional Event Details

• Shift times will be 5-8 hours in length. 
• Pay is $24/hour - we pay weekly via direct deposit! 
  
• Free parking near the venue. 
  
• Staff will need to wear their own black pants, black button-down or polo, and comfortable closed-toed black shoes. The client will provide a branded jacket and/or vest on-site. 

Job Requirements

• Must have a considerable background in front-facing customer service roles. 
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a standard shift (typically 6-8 hours) except during designated rest breaks and meal periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts. 
• Must have proficiency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Professional demeanor, appearance, and actions while on the job.
• Limited phone use during shifts. 
• Must adhere to all legal regulations and company policies set by Kinetic Events Staffing.

Ideal Candidates

• High-volume venue/stadium experience is preferred, but not required. 
• Due to the uncertainty of shift times, full availability on Saturdays is essential.
• Flexible and adaptable as job duties and schedules may change based on client needs. 
• Tech-savvy and willing to learn new tasks and skills. 
• Local to Bay Area. Kinetic Events/our clients do not provide travel reimbursements.
